           We are always excited for festivals, especially celebrating them with our little one is beyond explanation. one of the most Joyce and favorite festive among kids is Janmashtami. We always try to make every Janmashmi very special and memorable. For that, we put all our best efforts. 
 
          Kids love Lord Krishna. Involving in janmashtmi celebration and doing some activities with kids inculcate cultural values in them. Here are some awesome ways you can make your Janmashmi celebration very special.

👉  Dress Up Like Krishna 
         Needs

  1. Any color dhoti (Yellow, Red, Orange, White prefer)    

  2. Crown with feather on top.

  3. White or Yellow pearls or flowers Ornaments 

  4. Flute on one hand

          First dress up your kids with dhoti and ornaments on neck ,waist belt and upper arm belt with flower or pearls.The crown with peacock feather on top is one most significant sign of Kanha. Lets put crown with peacock feather on your munchkins 's head. Make tikka using kumkum on his for head. To make complete look give flute on his one hand. And your littel Bal Krishna is Ready!


👉  Dahi Handi Celebration
       On day before janmashtami, Take a small earthen pot and some color to paint it with decorative stuff. Let ask your kid to paint it and decorates it with their creative ideas. Your Handi or Matuki is ready!!! On day of Janmashtami, put some butter and dry fruits inside matuki, Hang it at some height so your can reach and break it with flute or other decorative stick. your are all set for Dahi Handi celebration.
That will make your kid feel very special. 

👉  Pooja Room Decoration
       Children are always excited to see and create new things. so why not let them help us to decorate pooja room with flowers, lights, balloons. Also get their help to set up jhoola. Decorate it with ribbon and flowers however they want to. your munchkins love dressing up kanha in colorful outfit, complete it with jewelry and flute. If your kid has small animal toys set ask them to decorate with it to make small Gokul village. 

👉  Explain Importance of Janmashtami
        You can explain why we celebrate the festival and what is the date of festival? Tell your child the birth story of Loard Krishna.That will deeply attach your with culture.

👉  Tell the Stories of Krishna
       Animated movies are always favorite of kids We can easily get Balkrishna animate stories on YouTube. you can have them watch stories of Krishna, how krishna and his friends used to steal butter, how bravely krishna fought with kalia the snake. Kids enjoy all these stories. 

👉  Visit Krishna Temple with Kids
        Make a plan to visit Krishna Temple nearby. Kids love  culture activities and arrangement in temple.

👉  Aarti thali Decoration
        We all do prayer and aarti at krishna birth time at our home. Take some help of your enthusiastic kid in aarti thali decoration.  

👉  Make some Makhan(White Butter)  or Missari 
       Let your kids be a little master chef, make some white butter or missari with their help. It make your kids very excited for prayer.
